The start of the Australian Grand Prix Melbourne-2010
We started to get gripes at the end of last year’s F1 season that our headlines on Grand Prix results gave the game away. Not an overwhelming number of emails – just a steady trickle. We thought it was going to be the Porsche Boxster Speedster when we reported that Porsche were out testing a disguised Boxster at the Nurburgring back in September. Or maybe it was going to be the Boxster R. But it’s actually called the Porsche Boxster Spyder.

The Chevrolet Volt was gunning to be the ‘first mass-produced car with a triple-digit fuel economy,’ according to General Motors CEO Fritz Henderson. Earlier this week he announced the US’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) would rate the new Chevy Volt as capable of 230mpg on the open road. The Nissan Leaf EV has picked a bone with the Volt.
